I am on metro on my way home from a business trip right now.. and I came through NY penn station at rush hour... can’t see how it could possibly be more crowded so assuming we are fine ! Industry is running fine wo extra government employees...

Agreed....reopen the government! People's real lives are being adversely affected by this shut down.Negotiating budgetary issues and legislation happens all of the time in Congress...without manipulating results - holding federal employees hostage is wrong.
