Democrats could just as easily end the shutdown by giving up the 5b, which is apparently more important than government workers getting paid and the trillions of dollars that would be spent on other democratic priorities

The R majority Senate passed a clean CR because they thought it was the right thing to to. Now they are refusing to pass the exact same bill. It is R's that can't be trusted to negotiate in good faith, and that is the proof
