The Trump Hotel is across the street from the current FBI HQ. Trump will benefit financially from this new plan to keep the FBI where it is and not redevelop it into commercial space. Yet GSA and FBI refused to answer when asked if he was involved in this decision. Why? pic.twitter.com/G6RZQagCdY

  Thank you Senator. I felt your frustration viscerally as you were questioning the real politicians in the FBI - those who keep the books. I noted elsewhere on this forum how embarrassed I am to have John Barrasso as my senator. Congressional oversight is impossible with blinders

  President Donald J. Trump should have no input into where the FBI gets a new headquarters built. He doesn't work there. He doesn't know the training and re-certification requirements for FBI agents. He doesn't care about how to optimize the FBI's use for D.C. as a security force

  An FBI HQ on MD 210 offers more fast transit in various ways than Metro rail access or getting stuck in traffic. FBI could keep a couple of helicopters at Maryland Airport and fly to http://DHS.gov headquarters in an emergency, or like I said earlier, go by speedboat.

  FBI can be relocated into Charles County much cheaper than it can be relocated near Greenbelt or Virginia. Those are the two worst commuting locations, and they offer no expansion of what the FBI wants and needs - which is more than just updated office space. Trump hates the FBI
