Why would people who are horrible at their job get a pay raise? Government is the only job where failure is rewarded.
Trump constantly belittles our hardworking federal workforce and proposed a pay freeze even though the cost of living is rising. I’m glad we stood up for our civil servants by voting to give them a modest pay raise. Please fight for your constituents! Many Marylanders are fed employees that are dependent on pensions for post-retirement security. Private sector pays more, but patriotism, sense of supporting noble missions, and a civic duty encourage us to work for less in fed govt.

What about a minimum wage increase? U get paid vacation/paid holidays/decent insurance/a nice pension. U don’t have to worry about healthcare nor do you have to worry about Social Security/Medicare being axed. You made a choice that has perks. Get over it.
