My brother, wife and child (1year old) were £2500 when returning home to live in Thailand, that was for the hotel and medical test (COVID) temperature taken twice a day and 2 test each, it needs to be done to keep our numbers down, keep safe.
£1750 per person is eye watering. If returning via somewhere like Doha, it is cheaper to wait it out at the W Hotel full board for 10 days then come into the UK and go straight home. I know which I would prefer.
