easiest way to "migrate" to the extinct mammal platform and bring part of the social graph that you built with you is to pop over to and use movetodon dot org

i failed to tag on this, given that i'll very often print 4-10 of his playmobil'esque / 5poa figure models at a time ~ it's more efficient to batch with spares than one-offs

one of the reasons it might take me a while to get through any model i choose is that i might often print several at a time (especially with multiple filaments) ~ appreciate @Polymaker_3D helping fuel the color accuracy ~ somehow, i got the @industriesnikko to stand! @makerdeck

Yes. Not without its quirks, but definitely a speed demon. Some things, I prefer printing with it. Mind you, I don't collect printers. Maybe one day, will have a real maker space in the greater #Seattle area?

More and more true by the day. Average complete vintage Kenner figure (obv. excluding last 17 & the like) - $20-$25 Just announced TVC Boba Fett comic art figures - $23

i do not have comprehensive experience, but my buddies are full of more qualified advice ~ i've been beyond happy with my mini+ review unit for ~2 years ~ filament vs. resin is down to what you want to print most, how much mess you can deal with

Hey Chris, I'm thinking of diving into the 3D printing bandwagon in 2023. But I'm debating on what type of printer to get. I'm going for a $300 printer (more or less). Should I go with filament or resin? Also any brand you can recommend would be great. Ty.
