  3. What a moment. In Hartford with to announce that the budget Congress just passed includes a $300,000 grant to Mothers United Against Violence to fund work to prevent gun violence in Hartford. A big deal!

  4. After a two year COVID hiatus, it was great to see an enthusiastic crowd from Cheshire/Southington/Wolcott/Waterbury at my annual St. Patrick’s Day breakfast. I’ve been doing this since I represented these towns in the State Senate. Thanks to for joining!

There were just a ton of very important Republicans actively trying to organize a coup. Like, we all understand this, right? This wasn’t just some different flavor of normal politics.

Amongst these text messages is one in which Thomas urges Meadows to listen to election fraud evidence from one of the loudest “Sandy Hook truthers” who believes Sandy Hook was a false flag op.

The vast majority of recent US political coverage of the Ukraine crisis has been, "Why won't Biden approve a no-fly zone to stop the death we're seeing on our TVs???" It's accountability-free war-drum-banging and makes anyone unwilling to take that calamitous risk seem weak.

Madeleine Albright was a lion. She understood both the miracle and fragility of democracy and dedicated her career to fighting for its survival. She was a trailblazer who mentored thousands - including me. The country will miss her. The world will miss her. I will miss her.

Britain needs to act. Their hostage deal with Iran left behind Morad (a U.S./British citizen), but required Iran to grant Morad home release. Iran hasn’t upheld their end of the deal and Britain should make sure the funds they promised to Iran are not transferred.

Not a single Iran deal opponent has a better idea. “Maximum pressure” sanctions didn’t work. Sabotage and assassination hasn’t worked. War with Iran won’t work. Diplomacy is the only viable path that has ever expanded Iran’s breakout time.

None of this is classified info btw. Getting back into the JCPOA doesn’t require all IRGC sanctions or human rights sanctions to be lifted. And economic relief will be limited bc most multinational companies have just decided to stay out of Iran.

I was in today's Iran briefing. None of this reflects what is in the proposed deal. Economic relief will be limited Human rights sanctions remain. IRGC will remain heavily sanctioned. There is no path to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon other than this deal. Period. Stop.

. is spot on here. Access to affordable, high-quality child care and universal pre-k isn’t just a progressive wish list item. It would cut costs for literally millions of people, allow small and large businesses to remain productive, and grow our economy.

This is important. A new, strong bipartisan majority to dramatically increase American clean energy potential. Rare that one policy can both secure our country and save our planet simultaneously.
