7/x The founding fathers probably believed in a right for citizens to own guns (though not necessarily for the reasons you articulate). But they also definitely believed in the right of government to restrict the ability to own and operate weapons.
8/x And that's where we are today. No Democrat is arguing to outlaw private gun ownership. But we do believe, as the founders did, that there should be reasonable limits on gun ownership. Like, some people are too dangerous to own guns, and a few guns are to dangerous to own.

AR-15's are like heroin to the gun nuts. They experience pleasure while holding and discharging weapons of war. Their 2nd Amendment arguments are just an excuse for them to feed their drug-like addiction. Happiness is a warm gun.
Ask Ted how he feels about people owning tanks instead of cars. After all a tank is just a big car, right? AR-15s should be off our streets and out of people's homes. If owned at all they should be at a gun range and kept there, locked up. ENOUGH.
