As a CEO, Rick Scott oversaw a multi-billion dollar Medicare fraud - the biggest in American history resulting in 14 felonies and a $1.7 billion fine. What makes you think that as Governor, he wouldn’t steal a few thousand votes by shutting down the count?

Florida is filled with retirees. They stoke their fears and keep them voting as a giant red block. They would vote for any felon, crook, etc. as long as it isn't a Democrat. The funny thing is, they are scared of losing their government benefits- and the repubs are doing that.

My husband and I are registered Repub. and you wouldn't believe the fear mongering, hate-filled flyers we got for weeks before the election. I can imagine how an elderly person would feel, stressed and confused. (Neither of us voted for Scott for the record)

Wow- we got about half that! But all were glossy mailers with no envelopes so you couldn't help but read them. We must be in an area the target as still working-lol.

You also have to ask why someone would put $64M of his own money into an election for a position that only pays $174K a year.

He's gotten it. He used his position as gov to reap somewhere just north of $200M since he's been in office. For example, his policy of drug testing welfare recipients was implemented shortly after he took over. His company was awarded the contracts to conduct the testing.

Scott is positioned to make a killing if ACA is ever really repealed. Only reason he wants a senate vote. The election money spent is pocket change .

I've been thinking... with such a close margin in the GA and FL gov races... considering what we know about voter suppression attempts from Kemp, et al... it seems realistic to consider there may be hidden votes... it also hit me... Pam Bondi is SoS of FL... she's a Trumpster...

You're absolutely right, almost 200K. Plus hes been hiding voting machines that were supposed to be in black communities so they all could vote. They can win without cheating. He even sent out voting machines without the power cords to run them...😡😡😡😡😡pic.twitter.com/CBuXvrkjgQ

In Michigan, we just did. Prop 2, which puts an end to political gerrymandering, passed. We'll be waving bye-bye to Republicans as we drive into the future.
