Democrat Jen Metzger beat Republican Annie Rabbitt in NY's 42nd Senate District race. That makes two Democrats - Metzger and James Skoufis - winning two Hudson Valley/Catskills seats that retiring Republicans Bill Larkin and John Bonacic have held for 28 and 20 years.
