I agree with your point regarding aid to small businesses. Regarding the airlines, if necessary, the government should follow the auto company restructuring plan of 2008. They can seek relief under Chapter 11, and the government will take equity shares in exchange for cash.

My daughter works for a one vet practice. She cannot afford to be closed more than a couple weeks and pay her employees past that. My single mom daughter wonders how she will pay her $1500/mo rent!
