    Really proud of my MS student's work out in GRL discovering that aftershock zones in Oklahoma are much narrower than California aftershock zones, interesting on its own. Implication is it leads to underestimate of seismic hazard within a PSHA framework

    A complete image of the Mw 7.1 Ridgecrest showing amount of surface displacement measured by satellite imagery. Rupture is ~40 km in length with up to ~5m of fault slip. Fault trace has remarkably similar rupture geometry to 1999 Mw 7.1 Hector Mine event.
