My friend in the Dee valley had one that came in through the cat flap on the coldest of winter nights, settle on the sofa. All pets and people accorded it cautious respectful space. It would stroll off in the morning.
My gran had wild cats, real #Wildcats, in #GlenClova. They would have their kits in the top corner of the coal/log shed each year. We weren't allowed to go near as the mums would attack anyone venturing too close.

yes we do. very reclusive and extremely rare. there has been a lot of domestic cats breeding with them causing hybrids. loss of habitat is another major factor in their decline. beautiful animals. also known as the Highland Tiger.
Fab show- great to hear so much money being pumped into conservation- i heard a few EU names mentioned- how will leaving the EU change that?

I adopted a Scottish wildcat in memory of our adored pet cat (rip). Then learned there were only 35! And the adopted cat's Clachindarroch forest is being logged
