Maybe he's mentally ill but let's not insult the disabled.
Hi folks, just so you know - mental illness is a disability and the term "handicapped" is considered an old-fashioned and even offensive term. Let's not insult people with disabilities by saying Trump has one, when in reality he's just a mean-spirited bigot.
The guy that Trump was mocking was physically disabled or handicapped. He wasnt mentaly ill or anything. Kinda sound slike you are calling that reporter mentally ill and that isnt true
Sorry if I was unclear. It seemed like @artisticandrews was saying Trump isn't disabled but rather mentally ill. I wanted to clarify that mental illness is also a type of disability, while also noting that many disabled folks & disability activists dislike the term "handicapped."
Oh yeah that makes a little more sense. Sorry for misinterpreting this thread
I really like it when I actually see examples of people working something out on Twitter and not devolving into idiocy. Bravo guys!
And this is why Marvel (and the entire fandom) is going to have a hard time recovering during a post-Evans era. THIS. RIGHT HERE.
Yup, it actually kind of endeared Cap to me even more in this weird art imitating life kind of way.
Completely agree. The man embodies Cap. Whoever cast him is brilliant. Marvel has been getting it right from Day 1. Well, aside from a couple small-ish mistakes, which we'll forgive. But Chris as Cap? F*cking PERFECTION.
It's amazing how perfect he is especially when I had doubts at in the beginning at them double casting Johnny Storm as another super hero. He proved me utterly wrong right away.
The real mistake IMO was casting Chris as anyone BUT Cap.
I remember hearing he would be captain America after he had just played the human torch and I was so against it. How wrong I was...
@michaelb4jordan played the other Human Torch only to go on to play Killmonger in Black Panther and he (no pun intended) killed it. Point is, sometimes it’s the casting director’s fault for putting artists in the absolute wrong roles.
I think both of them actually were pretty good for their roles. The movies were just trash. Hopefully Marvel will get Fantastic 4 movie rights back and they’ll have a good movie for once.
At the end of the day, David is an A student. He is articulate, bright, passionate, and Laura and her ilk are scared to death when they look at him because they see the future looking back.
Let's see @IngrahamAngle's high school GPA.
Wikipedia says she graduated from Dartmouth, so it’s probably pretty good. It was easier to get in when she went than it is now, though.
Did it say anything about graduating with honors, Cum Laude or anything? If she comes from money it's also easier to get into schools like Dartmouth, but I don't have time or the stomach to read through her wiki page at the moment. :)
Looked on several sites and couldn’t find anything about honors or cum laude. Probably would say so if she was. From Glastonbury CT so probably some $ there. Also has a JD from Virginia. That’s all the research I want to do.
Yeah, I can't blame you. Sounds about right, and agreed... if she had ANY of those things she would have crowed about it somewhere.
