You don't think the accused should be represented fairly? Under Obama rules, accused males presumed guilty, no due process, still punished.

Mistreatment of rape victims is reprehensible. But we can't swing the other way and allow possibility of innocent students being punished.
-
Colleges should not be acting like courts, since they are not allowing the due process required by law. Innocent until proven guilty.

That's why it should ALWAYS be the police doing the investigation and NEVER should it be the college campus for an actual crime scenario.
-
In my college days someone got robbed during one of the nights the students would party. The police did the investigation, not the college.

Who is looking out for the feelings of sexual predators though. Rapists want an education too. Thanks to Betsy, they can no longer worry.
-
I mean, if women were not there- this wouldn't be an issue. Maybe she can work on that next. They don't need an education to make sammiches
-
Plus, if they are uneducated- maybe they would quit bitching about equal pay, healthcare, being grabbed inappropriately, blah blah blah.
-
I mean, they bitch about equal rights like these men are not all looking out for their best interests! Ungrateful!pic.twitter.com/H6MbmcG83m

why would those accused of sexual assault NOT get their Constitutional due process rights?
-
The Obama administration by memo, not even EO, virtually eliminated due process for campus sex misconduct accusations.
-
Actually the DCL gave increased protections that students facing disciplinary hearings for other types of misconduct don't receive under DP
-
No it didn't. It basically pressured colleges to dispense with Due Process for accused. DeVos is returning DUE PROCESS rights to the accused

It's hard to imagine anyone thinking this is an ok move.
-
Seriously! What purpose does this serve?!!?
-
Maybe protecting the innocent and upholding our constitution...other than that...nothing!
-
Yes, because the right to rape with impunity is exactly what the authors of the Constitution had in mind.
-
Just in case you are unaware. There are laws against rape, police officers that investigate, and a justice system to prosecute criminals.
-
police in some states can decide a victim wasn't forceful enough w/no & decide not to investigate further
-
So without enough evidence to prosecute a school should make a judgement?
