Read the article before you jump to conclusion. That's part of the problem.
I did read it! I just don't want to keep perpetuating false equivalencies, it's dangerous.
Me neither. I don't think that's what the article endorses. Sorry if that's how my tweets came across.
No worries, I might have just been reading too much into it. I appreciate you always using your voice for good, thank you.
No worries at all :)

This is one of the reasons I respect you, although we are often on opposite ends of the ideological spectrum. We are both aware that there
is more than our own thoughts and our own preferences that matter and that decisions must be based on.
I would also add that your PR people aren't doing their job correctly if they haven't taught you how to create threads as it is a much
easier way to make a long statement.
And if we're talking twitter - an updated profile picture might be due.

You don't have an idea of the good that makes me read to you. thanks
it's a truly interesting article

Working to overcome cognitive bias is the hardest part, and the worthiest. We must allow that we can be wrong, and accept when we are wrong.
I see it as just a coping mechanism on how we chose to protect ourselves and make projections of the reality that are easier to process
It's totally a coping mechanism--and not a very useful one for dealing with the world at large. It's also what many DO use.
Rational decision making methods are a difficult thing to implement 24/7. But being aware of our limitations and biases is a step. I hope
