Wayne told me he sees attitudes shifting in the state, and said if S. Dakota can, so can Nebraska. And said it's important for the Cornhusker State to allow farmers and business owners to get in before the federal government lifts the nationwide prohibition.

Good luck. Ricketts tho
-
That’s the big hurdle. I believe tho that the angle this time is to go thru some sort of amendment. Then that can’t be subject to a governor’s veto. But that was just my understanding of the info from the Senator.

It’s about time!!! (I am not of the partaking club but FFS do we have to be last in everything in this state?). Pass it & empty out the prisons of every passive weed prisoner (all of them!). Total waste of time & money locking them up to begin with.
-
Not to mention it would solve the prison overcrowding issue in this state and there wouldn't be a need for a another 230 million dollar prison which Ricketts wants.

question is are they gonna allow EVERYONE to get in the business end of things not just farmers. Social Equity is very important in the Cannabis Industry.
-
How about we legalize it, but if only for people who vote for it. Increase the penalty for possession and use times 10 for people who vote against it.

@SenSteveLathrop please support Sen Wayne is this endeavor as the right to vote on it was unjustly taken away from your constituents.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Smart move. Having gone to high school in southeast Nebraska in the late 70s, I can attest to how hard it was for kids to buy alcohol and how easy it was to buy pot.
