Folks need to stop with the false narrative that people want to repeal 2nd Amendment or take away people's guns. Not only would it be impossible to confiscate 300 millions guns, but any amendments to the Constitution requires 2/3 approval in BOTH houses of Congress & Prez OK.

Chris thinks it's illegal to read that.

However if it was a penis he would demand that school girls look at it.https://twitchy.com/sd-3133/2017/02/27/still-digging-chris-cuomo-out-jackasses-himself-with-this-take-on-12-year-old-girls-and-their-parents/ …

Here’s your rational thinking: Appropriately Trained, Armed Guards and Teachers in every school to defend and protect our kids from the evil that exists in our world.
-
In other words, you want schools to resemble either prisons or military bases. That doesn't sound rational, that sounds bugfark insane. How about we make malls and movie theaters armed encampments too? How about we declare martial law and put the National Guard on every street?
-
There is evil in our world. Nothing and Nobody can stop all evil from occurring. Gun Free Zones means Criminal Safe Zones. The Right to keep and bear arms means I can be prepared to defend my life when evil comes to my door. It doesn’t mean I will prevail, but at least I’m ready.
-
There's a difference between having a gun in your home for self-defense/home protection and demanding teachers be armed. There's a huge Pacific Ocean-sized world of difference between the two. One is rational. The other is not.
-
Beth, Nobody is DEMANDING teachers be armed in our schools. It would be there own rational decision to do so or not. And I am not only armed inside my home, I carry a concealed weapon outside and am licensed to do so. I choose this because I’ve been a warrior my entire life.

I cannot imagine being so fearful of the world around me and so distrustful of everyone I see that I have to carry a gun just to leave the house. I physically cannot understand that kind of pathological fear. I'd see a therapist before I started packing heat.
-
That would be rational thought for YOU Beth For me, fear has nothing to do with my decision I’ve seen all sorts of evil being perpetrated during my career My rational thought is to be ready to defend against the wolf, no matter its physical form That means defending YOU too
