how is taking verification away from already established creators not going to cause even more confusion as well as put viewers in danger of falling for fake accounts because now they won't appear any different when they had been verified before?

Plus, if you think about it, a check mark is the universal way of saying someone is verified. Now they’re taking that away and adding a highlight? That would actually confuse people more than the people who are “confused” at the current system. This whole update is wrong.
