The execution of pro-democracy activists by the Burmese military junta last weekend is appalling. This is only the latest example of the junta’s brutal disregard for human rights, and the US must ensure the perpetrators of this abuse are held accountable.

With all due respect, the US is having enough trouble holding the perpetrators of Jan 6 accountable. We are not the shining beacon of democracy anymore and we can't afford to police other countries when our own is in such trouble. Maybe one of the *25* countries above us can help
