    Everyone deserves to feel safe in this city, but a lot of the folks claiming that nyc is less safe really mean that they’re uncomfortable seeing the visible effects of inequality

    The Free Palestine protest outside the Israeli Consulate in Manhattan is still growing in size. NYPD have barricaded the sidewalks off to keep the crowd contained and out of the street.

    Police officers stand in the street, next to metal barricades with protesters on the other side. Some protesters are waving flags and wearing keffiyeh.
