It's time to take the guns away from the cops. Not just the lethal ones. ALL OF THEM. Fire 1/2 the cops & retrain the rest of them. They're supposed to be the police. Not an invading army. They've been trained to think of anyone not in uniform as an enemy. #TakeTheGunsAway
All cops need to be fired and if they want their jobs back should go through psychological testing, a deep investigation of their social media, extensive training in de-escalation techniques, and their union should be run by independent African American labor union professionals.
It worked in Ukraine to be fair. They pretty much fired the entire corrupt police force and recruited a new one from scratch a few years ago (after Russia occupied the east,) and while they are now terrifyingly young (that might just be me), there is way less petty corruption.
I get the outrage but to be fair, she’s not wearing anything that identifies her as a member of the media. Obviously can’t say that about the camera guy, but I’ve seen those cameras. They’re not as obvious as belonging to media as they used to be.
It’s such a shame the cops have no other way to verify when they’re unsure about something. Oh well, better open fire.
