I don’t know about the watch hours (though I’m sure I don’t meet it), but I know for sure that I don’t have 1,000 subs haha. Which means I no longer qualify to be a YouTube partner. In other words, I’ll no longer be making money on YouTube.

To be fair, I didn’t make a whole lot of money off youtube, like... not even 5$. Even after nearly 3 years of being on the platform. Whether or not they’ll actually give me that money (since you have to make $100 before they’ll pay you) remains to be seen. Doubt I’ll get it tho

It’s never been about the money. Like I said, I barely made any. The main reason I post videos is to record my drawing process, share and improve my animation skills, as well as develop some skills in video editing.

There was a point, I’ll admit, that I thought I could’ve gone full time on @YouTube . But that’s been a dead dream for a while. It would’ve been nice, but it’s never going to happen. They just don’t care about small time creators. And they haven’t for a long time.

All of that being said, I’m still going to be making videos. I’ll still make vlogs, speed draws, animations, and whatever else I can think of. Not for @YouTube , but for my viewers, followers, & myself.

I’m sure no one will actually read all this, especially @YouTube or @TeamYouTube , but I just wanted to get it off my chest. I may be constantly reminded that I’m small, but no one ever started out big time.
