Update: Bad news is 287 new cases in Singapore today, twice the previous max. Good news is that 200 are from known clusters that are more easily contained-- workers crammed in dorms. YES. Does not bode well for quick recovery after we get the initial wave under control...China may be backsliding as well, see places in both Henan and Heilongjiang reimposing lockdowns after rise in cases. Korea and Taiwan are the bright spots for now but could change any day

It was 90 degrees in Singapore today. It’ll be 90 degrees tomorrow. It’s basically always 90 degrees or more in Singapore. Cases are going up there. Yet people are saying the virus will go away when it warms up (in the U.S. and elsewhere)? Can a scientist help me bridge this?
