I guess China knows it is wrong about Hong Kong and doesn't like free people calling them out on it. How petty & short-sighted to take back the panda. China garners much support for Panda research because people see that animal.

It's so cool because the whole process has allowed Giant Pandas to go from nearly extinct to just vulnerable. The National Zoo has sent 3 pandas that were born here back to China to enter the breeding program. 100% of Giant Pandas in the US are on loan from China.
