The latest restrictions imposed by the US State Department on Chinese diplomats are in violation of the Vienna Convention. So far, the Chinese side does not have similar requirements on American diplomats and consular officers in China.

Would prefer to see independent verification of your statement. We know you are not always truthful. As long as there is real reciprocity on both sides there should be no issue. Same goes for control of technology and other restrictions imposed.

This is the point. The US diplomats are monitored. You know exactly how many times did they go to universities. The US should also be able to monitor how many times the Chinese diplomats visit such institutions. That is reciprocity.
