In addressing #ClimateChange, what we need is firm commitment and continued actions.
What we don’t need:
-Empty slogans
-Ever-changing policies
-Luxury motorcades and entourage
-Irresponsibly exposing numerous people to infection

The Chinese leader addressed the meeting to share China’s solution to climate change. The Chinese delegation attended the meeting in person.
China has announced its carbon peak & neutrality targets, and released action plan and policies. Our achievements are widely recognized.

China has been earnestly supporting #ClimateAction. We are not the one who withdrew from the #ParisAgreement.
The US however has backpedaled its climate policies many times. Instead of blameshifting, what it should do now is to shoulder responsibility and take concrete actions.
Open up your internet so we can talk to Chinese people and discuss how to handle this #climatecrisis ...🙏

The EU, Five Eyes,G7,Quad and whatnot don't have the guts to pinpoint the fact that it was the US that withdrew from the #ParisAgreement. All in the name of "playing by the rules" created by their master. Period.
As the largest cumulative emitter of greenhouse gases, the #US should face up to its historical responsibility, maintain policy consistency, show greater ambition and action, and take the lead in undertaking the obligation of substantially reducing emissions.
Slogans are no substitute for action. We hope that the US side will release as soon as possible a concrete implementation plan and roadmap for halving greenhouse gas emissions by 2030,and ensure that there will be no backsliding and backsliding in its climate policy in the future
