On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Black Employee Network from Kansas City National Security Campus (operated by Honeywell FM&T) assembled Happy Kits, donated toys and more! Their support ensures children of all walks of life continue to receive the highest quality of care.

When her granddaughter was admitted to CM, Debi Cook wanted her to have a nonstop companion. Debi learned of the baby holding program and knew she wanted to partake one day. She has now served 900+ hours in our NICU, and this “stand-in grandma” is our Volunteer of the Month!

Our surgical & transplant teams accomplished the first-ever pediatric dual heart-liver transplant at Children's Mercy, and in #KansasCity. ❤️ 13 days after surgery, the patient was able to go home. We're so excited for him and proud of our teams for making it possible. Congrats!

Thank you, , for caring for the care givers over the holidays! Last week, our staff received 730 free cups of coffee, fueling their work to care for the kids of our region. As one staff member said, “It gave us a much-needed pick-me-up on a very busy day!”
