Hi all! I've been off twitter for a while - I did a digital detox whilst on holiday last year and enjoyed it so much I just kept going... Plus, I took a break from my blog whilst I completed my post-grad, which I'm pleased to say is finished! So, I'm back! New blog soon.

Also - I had some lovely messages from blog readers whilst I was away which has really encouraged me to keep writing (thank you) and a whole load of new followers too; welcome and sorry for the radio silence! X

Just listened to on the podcast talking about not wanting kids. V funny 😂 "I feel like it's the final taboo to talk about on stage... Some people think you're a monster cos you don't... It's a decision and it's OK to say 'meh. Not for me"

I get that this piece is controversial but - our old neighbours had 3 small children and they were LOUD. Through the walls and when out in the garden. There was no escape. Luckily they moved out. I'd choose childfree neighbours over parents every time.

Fab piece by I haven't bought anything new since 2018! It was my new year's resolution. I've rediscovered charity, vintage & ebay + found some fab local shwapping events. My whole attitude to buying clothes has changed forever! Give it a go!

Plus, if by 'debate', they mean thinking about whether having kids is right for her before making a life-changing decision - why is that being pitched as something controversial?! Sounds pretty sensible to me.

This is exactly the kind of narrative that needs to change: 1. 'Admits' is such a loaded word to use. Not wanting kids is not something to be guilty about 2. Stop asking women without kids when they're having kids 3. This is not news

I'm currently 2 days into the final residential week of my post-grad. Hurrah! I'm with a different group this time cos of my holiday plans. All the parents are having a great time being away, but I'm missing Mr.T and home. But, Mr.T's homemade Brian gifs are helping 😆

Childfree perk #218 Not having to buy ridiculously overpriced plastic-filled Christmas presents. I just saw a 'smart sketcher' advertised for £70 and it essentially does the job of a piece of tracing paper.

Interesting read. 👇 I find it odd how women say they become more efficient at work after having kids. Like seeing/caring for kids is the only thing you'd want to leave the office for? I'm super efficient at work because I have lots of reasons to spend time away from my desk!
