The President’s approval to place the #NationalGuard in Title 32 status is a win for all involved. Title 32 status is no different than when the National Guard responds to natural disasters. (1/2) COVID-19

(2/2) Governors and adjutants general, who know best what is needed on the ground, will continue to command Guardsmen and women and use them where they are needed most. Just as important, the status change also ensures states will be reimbursed by the federal government. COVID-19

We get that done after we survive this first. A lot has to change, we'll change it if we live long enough to deal with the reckoning. Think of this as a stress test on humanity; the assholes always crack first, we'll call them out for it later. We busy now.

Does this mean that we are going into martial law or what does it mean

As GEN Lengyel said, Title 32 status is the same status that NG troops most use when responding to a natural disaster. The troops will be in support missions: assisting in building field hospitals, assisting health care workers etc. Key is that is all support. No martial law.

Except we're not usually every single one of us isolated to our homes with restricted access to money. If it looks like martial law and goosesteps like martial law, does it really matter if the goosestepping is in the name of public health?

General, thank you for your help! Most haven't been from a military family, so they don't know how big of a thing this truly is. Thanks again for your service ♥️
