If you cannot draw clear distinctions between your "tribe" and the colonizers, then you are doomed to be swallowed into their orbit via sleight-of-hand trickery that blurs distinctions in "liminal" spaces (and always ends up putting colonizers at the top).

So close to the abyss, I have nothing left to lose and everything to gain, to leave behind.

You know what you must do. Stop making excuses and start making history. This life is meant to be used, and by the end of your life, you must be used up, too. A flower is precious because its life is brief. So bloom forth and feel the sun in your greatest hour.

In typical DNC Caucus fashion. Apps failing, PHONE APPS failing. Caucus leaders now going to camps explaining the tech problems. Sanders obviously dominating the night.

the common denominator as i see it... it is always mathematics... history+momentum(past x present x future)= has a non-linear life of itself/never static like history books are and portrays/we are hurled into, swirled within and retracts back into this fantastical spirit of 1

As fundamental an institution as the calendar is in defining our collaborative thinking, there’s no one in charge of it. Imagine collaborating internationally using a better way to coordinate our collective efforts We can even find better ways to mediate between calendars

Math is definitely the way I managed to break out of the Gregorian mindset. I think counting from 0 is a better way of capturing that constant momentum. The Sun Earth Planets always moving

I forgot to mention the spirals of history. 260 years is 13 x 20 20 years is about a generation. The midpoint of 13 generations is 7. The midpoint of 1492-1752 coincided with European Golden Ages Mid 1752-2012 the US gilded age, peak of Victorian England

Does History follow a pattern? Does it have a shape? Of course, and it depends on how you think of time. Measuring history in years, decades, centuries, millennia presents a linear scale. Viewing history by 13 and 20 as the Mesoamericans do makes that line a spiral.
