What if shield batteries had to be in contact with a pylon or another powered shield battery to work but you chain a line of batteries like a circuit. Then you'd have smart protoss creating parallel circuits and StarCraft is teaching life skills.

If we were ever close to figuring that out in a serious manner they'd just wipe our memories :( we can never truly know the truth if that's the case and that is something that makes me lose a lot of sleep
