A show? Yes I'm fine with that, good for watching while doing other things. A movie? Get that shit off my screen I want to WATCH.

I honestly have a hard time hearing dialogue sometimes, so sometimes I just leave them on for that reason. I'm so used to subtitles from anime that it doesn't bother me.

Big same. Also helps in those action movies when its "BIGBANGLOUDEXPLOSION" and then "ˢᵒᶠᵗʷʰᶦˢᵖᵉʳˢᶜᵉⁿᵉ"
