It's a shame reading about how Nintendo treats the smash community. Reading the news today from that part of the scene is just wow.

Isn't it incredible that
@NintendoAmerica assumes all of their melee players are thieves? There is no precedent that emulation of a game you are in possession of is illegal, yet here we are.
It's too bad because imagine how much money they could have made by supporting the game, but instead they've been giving Melee players shit for years. They made one of the best competitive games ever and are still being dumb about it.

It says a lot about the passion and resilience of their scene that they've persisted and grown through all of this bullshit. Would be great if somebody with the means took the fight to ninty on behalf of the melee community
