There are some nice things about working at a place that knows it's not your passion, my boss's boss asked me why I wouldn't work overtime and I just said "Because I'm going home". Not possible at a lot of places that expect you to get the job done no matter what.

I work for a major company. Sometimes I'll crunch, but most of the time we just tell it like it is... 1) We don't have enough resources so business needs to prioritize what will go and what will wait 2) If this isn't an emergency, it will have to wait 3) We're not super heroes

I wish everyone understood the concept of prioritizing. Yes I can do X but something else is going to have to get cut, because time and manpower are finite.
