Granted but at the same time not everyone is like you and running a tournament. For me it’s my full time career and if people don’t want to see ads then sub and support the creator they like especially when majority have a free sub from amazon prime and don’t use it
Choosing to run an ad is very different from having random ads pop up mid stream, it needs to be in the creators control.

Regardless of your or my feelings it’s their platform and they are for profit selling as space to cover servers, cloud maintenance, and more so in the end it’s ultimately what they choose. I still couldn’t care less so long as I’m getting paid for my work but that’s my stance

Sadly for smaller streamers like us this is more likely to hurt than help us, viewers aren't going to be open to finding new content with these new ad rules. Twitch already takes a massive cut of subs, I don't think it's too much to suggest they change how they use advertisements
