You don't know what Chance did, what he's thinking. Because he said "black people don't have to be democrats" doesn't in any way mean he supports Trump, who threw his name out there giving ammo to the mob. Trump's bad, not Chance's.

Doesn’t change the fact that in 2018 you have to issue an apology for saying “black people don’t have to be Democrats.” Maybe then the press will have pity and refrain from crucifying you. It’s a self-evident statement that requires no elucidation.. unless the mob comes after you

Chance could have hurt Trump more....he had the spotlight, what did he do with it? Sure he backed down to the mob, but he can't unsay what is now rolling around in some (perhaps many) black people's minds.

that’s how libertarians & conservatives operate on a daily basis....you just assume pretty much all musicians & actors & artists are liberal. we still support them. we don’t demonize or ostracize. we encourage free thinkers. doesn’t happen the other way around, though.
