I've accepted that premise, I asked what the alternative was which wouldn't be driven but hate.

Neither socialism nor communism are driven by hate. Nor, arguably, was feudalism or early capitalism. But oligarchs necessarily need strife to prevent class solidarity which will end their rule.

It seems hard to argue communism is not driven by hate with the over 100 million dead in the 20th century. Even if we accept it's not driven by hate that is something to contend with as people would be rightly concerned about it and what it means.
