This is unreal. Trump abruptly walked out of Dan Gable’s Medal of Freedom ceremony today, leaving Gable shrugging and at a complete loss about what he was supposed to do.pic.twitter.com/mOzlLn8poC

Aaron, I'm not a fan of the Don but I watched the ceremony today. This is a little misleading.. This was after the pres asked ?'s on rudy and making his election case. Not really appropriate for the media and this was at the end and he did say bye.

It may be taken out of context, but he still looks pissed and left the guy receiving the medal just standing there which is flat out rude, he should have said, I'm not answering questions during this ceremony and left it at that.

Sorry Marc, but this is what he signed up for AND is actively trying to find a way to continue doing. The real problem is, he only wants to do the job on his terms and that’s not how this works! The blatant lying and grifting is unacceptable and he’s mad for being called on it.

Any way you look at it, he still left him standing there clearly wondering what to do next. It's like the host leaving a dinner party and going bed while the guests are still in the house.

I don’t care what questions he was asked. This was disrespectful to Dan Gable and showed just how little Trump cares about anything other than himself. He can ignore questions and/or speak about the recipient and the honor. I feel sorry for Dan Gable. Some honor.

I’m not a Trump fan either but was thinking the same a you. The media should have kept the questions to the recipient of the award not exploit the moment for other agendas

I don’t agree. He could’ve defused the situation by talking to the press beforehand. If he only appears at award ceremonies, guess what will happen

I am not a fan of Trump or Gable, but agree it is inappropriate for media to act like this. But then Trump and Trumpers have been practicing and cheering inappropriate behavior for 4 years, so they have no right to outrage.
