BREAKING: Republican Senator Cory Gardner just announced his support for the House bill to reopen the government, without any funding for a border wall. He is urging McConnell and other Republicans to do the same.

Americans deserve to know: the government funding package passed by the House yesterday is the *exact same* plan passed by the just weeks ago. And yet, now, they refuse to vote on it.

I hope we can exercise the powers of the Oversight Committee in a bipartisan way to do what we all swore to do less than 24 hours ago—fulfill our duty to uphold the Constitution and serve as a truly independent check on the Executive Branch.

In Game of Thrones walls do not work. More evidence that the only “culture” Trump consumes is cable news.

.: You’ve been cast as a villain ... What does it feel like to be hated in that way? Nancy Pelosi: I don’t necessarily feel hated. I feel respected. They wouldn’t come after me if I were not effective. I consider myself a master legislator.

The fact that C-SPAN makes you watch a five second ad before their videos and all the ads are for C-SPAN is incredibly cute.

Let's see where we're at right now. -Harris had a questionable history as AG -Biden has a long history of bad political stances and grabby hands -Sanders let harrasment go in his campaign -Beto has a bad voting record -Warren is awkward af They're all still

So, I saw a screenshot on Facebook of far-right channers discussing how to use Elizabeth Warren to sow dissension among potential Democratic voters by going on Twitter and newspaper comment sections and forums and attacking her.

This is actual action from a conservative. This one fairly meaningless vote will be more of a brave move than all of Jeff Flake and Mitt Romney's speeches and editorials combined.

The lesson for Democrats - stop worrying about what the right says about trying to help people. Do the right thing, explain it to the people you're trying to help. If you try to appease the GOP they will just come back in the future and attack you for doing what they wanted.

George W. Bush also put 35% Tariffs on Chinese steel trying to help US plants trying to emerge from bankruptcy deal with lower prices due to subsidized Chinese steel. He pulled them after the right attacked him for not embracing free trade, Democrats supported them.

This is a very real problem that Democrats let Trump own by refusing to speak up on it. Obama put Tariffs on steel specifically targeting China's subsidized steel dumping but he never made it a big issue and didn't fight back when Republicans worked to block them.

challenge. Please explain what in the USMCA is providing expanded funding to the federal government. Specifics, not nonsensical talking points about "paying their fair share" or whatever other gibberish Trump made up.
