Fancy dress costumes at Halloween should be fun and enjoyed, but please remember they can be dangerous too. 🧛‍♂️ Keep costumes away from naked flames 🧛‍♀️ Battery operated lights are safer than candles 🧟‍♂️ Avoid sparklers around costumes 👨‍🚒 Should the worst happen, Stop, Drop & Roll

Over the last 3 nights Crews from Warrington have attended 4 separate bin fires in the Orford Park area. Not only does this damage community play areas for local children but this also stops the Fire Appliance from responding to other potentially more serious 999 calls.

Last week was a successful week for our On-call Watch with FF Hayes (Left) passing his Quarterly 1 assessment, and FF Baig (Right) passing his MOD 2 BA course. Great achievement and a big step for both in their development. Well done both 🚒 👏

We're urging residents and business owners to keep their wheelie bins secure following a spate of deliberate fire across the town. 👉 Deliberate fires take up our time when we could be saving lives elsewhere. Arson is a serious offence - please report it.
