I have some issues with Butler, but everything she says here is great. The one point I'd push back on is her guess that "most feminists support trans rights and oppose all forms of transphobia." I think this probably depends a lot on where you draw the boundaries of feminism.

Plenty of definitions for "feminist" would comfortably encompass a majority transphobe group. Transphobia is more widespread than we would like, and unless you do a "no true scotsman" thing where bigoted feminists aren't really feminist I think the same is true feminist spaces.
