Trump angrily complains about inspectors general doing public reports about the conduct of U.S. wars: "What kind of stuff is this? We're fighting wars and they're doing reports?" He says: "'The public' means the enemy. The enemy reads those reports."

Turkey, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Iran, Saudi, UAE, U.S., Russia.....can an orchestra deliver a stunning performance with eight conductors working simultaneously? The deconfliction and coordination alone is a heavy lift, assuming any cooperation at all.

Hanif Atmar’s ticket to challenge President Ghani seems close to final - with former Vice President Qanooni as his 1st VP pick & Mohammed Mohaqiq as his 2nd VP. Lots of questions remain, including: how much of Jamiat will Qanooni bring? Or will Jamiat split on who backs who?

Taliban video of its "commandos" training at a camp in Afghanistan or Pakistan. Wherever it is, the Taliban isn't afraid of being targeted. Flags flying, etc. Video produced by Haqqani Network's Manba’ Al-Jihad Media.

Russia was part of the Soviet Union, but not the entire Soviet Union. The war in Afghanistan was one of many factors leading to the former Soviet Union's economic woes. As for the "endorsement" - I have no words. Speechless.

Why is a suicide attack in Kandahar being celebrated in Pakistan? Why would terrorists who engage in suicide attacks in Afghanistan target a leader accused by Pakistan authorities of masterminding attack on China’s consulate in Karachi? 🤔

No one should be surprised by the Trump decision (to drawdown troops in Afg). Time for all of us to come together. Easier said than done, I know, instead attacking each over twitter daily (with proxies retweeting), we should engage

“Sr 🇦🇫 officials & Western diplomats in Kabul woke up to the shock of the news..many of them bracing for chaos ahead. Several 🇦🇫 officials, often in the loop on security discussions, said they had no indication recent days that U.S. would pull troops out”

As always this message of Pak establishment needs de-coding. It says Pakistan army & the ISI ordered its proxy terrorists to agree to dialogue in order for Pakistan to secure a loan from the IMF & earn some respect from Trump. It is neither done for sake of Islam nor compassion.
