When I became Chief Justice, I learned that our courts often required new parents to go to work days after having a baby. So I implemented a paid family leave program that helped people take care of their families & be successful in their jobs. And it made a real difference. 1/2

We need to implement paid family leave across the nation. That's one of the reasons I'm running - because our families need someone to fight for them. That's what I did as Chief Justice, and that's what I'm going to do in the U.S. Senate. 2/2
