    I am very pleased to have co-authored this journal article with Sue Cavill. It explores how the framing of the ‘good mother’ in handwashing campaigns has a range of consequences (both ideological and practical) for social relations and the self-images of mothers.

    In their review, Sue Cavill and of provide a gender equality perspective and a need for behavioral change on the construction of hygiene interventions and campaigns. Read more here OR
