The local press keeps saying “it’s such a confusing situation” when really we lack the guts to say outright that Enrichmond Foundation is & has been on some CORRUPT ish! My grandfather along w other family members are is buried in these cemeteries. UGH!!!!!!

It was my honor + privilege to share Ramone Brown’s story w the judiciary committee today, esp knowing his family was watching in support. We have people locked up for things that big corporations are about to make hella $ off of. It does NOT make a lick of sense, FREE THEM ALL.

Kinda concerned that the way some we are creating boundaries around reactionary videos could also be removing us from supporting young people organizing tactics of resistance still necessary for rapid response today. It’s all a balance we are finding, but i hope we can do both.

We had a safe space called MDP Circle. It was beautiful. Jazz and classical musicians performed there. It had a garden, voter registration booths, mutual aid, poetry readings, a free library, free food, conversation - and for a while it was the most integrated space in Richmond.
