It’s okay. I’m deaf, too, and there was nothing in that debate to change your mind — it was all childish sniping. No policy, no plans, no moderating, no fact-checking. You missed nothing. If there is any question in your mind for whom to vote, I’d just read the newspapers.

Whether she would have found value in the debate is irrelevant. The deaf community should be allowed to make that judgement for themselves.

Honestly I’m glad they didn’t have an ASL interpreter .. that person would’ve quit in disgust and be done with it. But in all seriousness the next 3 debates should have an ASL interpreter.

they almost need like, an interpreter per person?? If they’re all gonna be talking over each other like that. No idea how that works but I can’t imagine how one person could interpret three streams of constant conversation, some of which is relavent.

I’ve always wondered why TV can’t just be tape delayed like 10 seconds so that the CC will be in sync. Or why TV manufacturers can’t let viewers delay the video for a few seconds to accomplish the same.

they already do that for live sports so i dont rly understand why the debate didnt have cc tbh
