Only 30 days to reach two brand new, huge requirements in order to remain a partner in the YouTube Program. 4,000 hours in watch time for the channel AND 1,000 subscribers. In 30 days!? Or else you’re TERMINATED from YPP and those tools for your videos!?! This is unacceptable
I cannot understand how this will be beneficial in any way to any of the small, legitimate creators trying so hard to grow and prosper from this platform. This will be detrimental to hundreds of thousands of people and channels. @YTCreators @YouTube @TeamYouTube
This isn’t going to “protect our creators”. This is going to hurt them. How are new creators supposed to grow/thrive/bring communities & creativity(not to mention business) to the platform, if the platform just plans on terminating those that don’t meet the mark in the 1st place?
This is not a positive change for the betterment and protection of YouTube creators and the community as whole... My heart is saddened at this turn of events and the changes this will make and is already making on YouTube.
