@ChatterBachs Deaf or hearing impaired?
I'm sorry... but when you call someone & receptionist says they only communicate via email, that's odd. Thoughts? #assnchat #communications

@sarahebourne Wow, that possibility never crossed my mind, Sarah. Don't think that's the case here. Had left vm message in past. A change? -
@ChatterBachs Another possible reason is accountability- email is self-tracking and self-documenting. You also have more control over time. -
@sarahebourne I can see that. It still seems so limiting though. I don't mind when I talk w/ someone, & they also ask for an email.

@ChatterBachs That is odd! Unfortunately, in this digitally driven world, more people are getting away w/ that. Sad truth.#assnchat -
@calliecady You know, Callie, it's one thing when people are really connected in other ways. But when it's just an excuse? -
@ChatterBachs That being said, Jay, I tend to ignore those ppl and spend time on ppl who actually enjoy talking to me:) -
@calliecady People who are closed off like that miss opps. They didn't know if I was calling to offer a job, sign contract w/ org, etc. -
@ChatterBachs Exactly! They are only hindering their own success. Great minds think alike!

I'd send the individual an email.
#OneLastEmail RT@ChatterBachs when you call someone & receptionist says they only communicate via email.. -
@biggreenpen That's what I did. It's strange that as a business professional a person would eliminate an entire method of#communications. -
@ChatterBachs I agree. -
@biggreenpen Good to know it's not just me! Thanks, Paula. Have a great day! -
@ChatterBachs you too!
