From the other side of the same mouth, Europeans plead with the very same Chinese State Agencies to invest in their European countries.
If the UK is seeking investments from Chinese state-owned enterprises - following the Huawei scandal - for example on nuclear energy, an open dialogue and greater transparency is required.
